This morning, an X account posted the following statement:
He is spot on. A majority of citizens are just not going to go for the emotional blackmail the legacy media pushed the past decades ad nauseam. For example, they refuse to be called a racist because they do not believe in illegal immigration that swarmed our border during the Biden/Harris years. They refuse to be called anti-trans or anti-LGBTQ+ because they believe children do not have the emotional and mental capacity to decide if they really want to change their gender.
But as the headline spells out for this brief post, there are two big changes. Besides ignoring the emotional terrorism of the legacy media, DOGE is also going to outlast Donald Trump 2.0 and whoever his successors will be.
This week, Rep. Tom Emmer, (R-MN), Majority Whip of the U.S. House of Representatives discussed the cultural impact of DOGE on BreakingBattlegrounds.vote. Here is our conversation:
House Majority Whip Tom Emmer on Trump’s Agenda, Border Security, and Fiscal Reform
DOGE has woken up the American public to the waste of Washington, D.C. bureaucrats and the insider grift. Many now follow the daily DOGE announcements like a fantasy baseball team owner follows major league baseball box scores. And this is where the second breakthrough has occurred.
The DOGE philosophy and practice will carry over to the state, county and municipal levels where taxpayers will demand more transparency of tax dollars and spending. I could see a time over the next decade where over 50 percent of U.S. states, counties and cities will appoint DOGE committees and start letting people see where their tax dollars are going.
Will DOGE eliminate our annual deficits and national debt? NO.
Will it start making a dent in getting us back to fiscal solvency? YES.
I mean, if DOGE can effectively enact savings of 10% or more across the board, is that really a bad thing? I am asking you, my Democrat friends.
DOGE is important because people will start becoming cognizant of what their tax dollars are being spent on.
The first step to fiscal sanity is admitting you have a problem.
The second step to fiscal sanity is putting a microscope on your spending.
The third step is to have your government spending match the priorities of your taxpayers.
None of that can happen unless you can literally see what it is being spent on.
