Yesterday after church I went to get my car washed.
I am still #oldschool and wear a suit, pressed shirt and tie to church. Yes, I am a dinosaur.
My suits are nice and not off the rack. I make this point because the young man who assisted me when I gave him my keys to wash my car asked if I was in finance or investments -- apparently many Phoenix metro area males do not wear a suit.
I asked him why he thought that and he said "you dress very nice" and look like a guy in finance. I told him I was not.
He then asked me, because he thought I at least had investments, what I thought of Nancy Pelosi’s trades?
Random question and the second time I have been asked that "Pelosi" question by a working man in his twenties within the past two weeks.
He then went on to describe Paul and Nancy Pelosi's stock trades. I only knew he was current with his information because my son follows the trade positions and stock activity of the Pelosi cabal. And this young man had details.
I asked if he was an investor and he said, "No, he wants to have three months' income saved before he starts investing." I smiled and told him that was wise and then asked if he was going to college. He replied no.
Same demographic as the other young man who asked me about Pelosi trades previously.
My inquisitive, informed car wash attendant then told me how corrupt Paul and Nancy were and wanted to know if I thought the same. I agreed with him.
As he gave me my receipt, he said, "Man, it's disgusting."
Before I walked away, I asked him if he watched the news. He said, "Sometimes, but I have to get my news elsewhere because I don't trust them."
The legacy media has truly lost white males under 30. As NBC News reported after November's election, "... young white men without college degrees, Trump beat Harris, 56% to 40%."
This is why Trump 2025 is so different from Trump 2017. He doesn't have to care about what the legacy media or CNN are saying. People do not trust them. They get their news from other sources.
If Trump's economic policies can truly improve their opportunities and economic well being, Trump's Republican successor may get 65%+ of white male voters under 30.
The Katie Courics, Joe Scarboroughs, Margaret Brennans, et cetera have lost this demographic because they have lied or covered up... repeatedly. This group under 30 does not understand why this newsworthy event of corruption, or Biden's numerous lies, and so on and so forth are not covered.
Hence when they continue to attack one side and refuse to put sunlight on the happenstance, coincidences or plain old fashion dishonesty, they shut them off. These people and their colleagues are viewed as white noise.
This is simply one of many examples of legacy reporters acting like cymbal-banging monkeys and cheering sections for one side of our two-party system, which has caused many in one demographic to turn them off.
Maybe CNN or CBS should do a story on this obvious insider trading scandal that some men — if not many — seem acutely aware of and discuss.
PS — what is more boring?
T-ball?
NFL Pro Bowl flag football game?
