Flashing across various news outlets this morning is a Florida "travel advisory" by the NAACP. Not surprisingly this gets top billing by the usual suspects.
Of course, it has nothing to do with black Americans' actual physical safety, but as they hyperbolically stated, 'in direct response to Governor Ron DeSantis' aggressive attempts to erase Black history and to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in Florida schools,' the group said in a written statement.
This "announcement came days after LULAC – the League of United Latin American Citizens – issued a travel advisory for Florida after DeSantis signed a new immigration law that will go into effect in July." By the way, Gov. Ron DeSantis "won 57% of the Hispanic vote." Hispanics in his own state don't seem to feel unsafe.
Does anyone smell political coordination?
Putting pieces of the puzzle together, I bet a FEC complaint, civil suit and some discovery will unwrap systematic and coordinated campaigns between these various liberal interest groups and the Biden Administration and/or campaign (probably the latter).
One thing it does do, is have the rotten smell of past coordination history with this Administration. Such as:
The Teachers Union president and Ukraine tourist, Randi Weingarten's coordination with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance for school shutdowns in which they basically used union language verbatim.
Top officials of a national school board group talked to the White House days before Attorney General Merrick Garland ordered the FBI to investigate complaints of threats from parents, newly released emails reveal. The Department of Justice and FBI as a result, terrorised some parents.
Hopefully, I am wrong, but do these liberal, Machiavellian leopards change their spots? They keep getting away with these types of shenanigans. This Administration loves a heavy hand and uses all means at their disposal.
I am interested to see if some fed-up Florida residents file this FEC complaint and obtain some discovery.
